Home remedies for knee pain

Knee pain can be caused by a sudden injury, an overuse injury, or by an underlying condition, such as arthritis. Treatment will vary depending on the cause. Symptoms of knee injury can include pain, swelling, and stiffness.Today we are going to know about some home remedies which can give you relief in knee pain.

Turmeric paste

Take one teaspoon of turmeric powder , one spoon of sugar or honey, one pinch of lime (चूना) . The add some water and make a paste.

How to use ?

Before going to sleep apply this paste on your knee and tie a crack bandage or some old piece of cloth. Leave this overnight and wash it in morning with normal water.

Benefits of using turmeric paste

After regularly using this paste for 2 weeks it gives relief in knee pain caused due to swelling, stiffness and pain

Dried ginger (सौठ ) paste

Take one teaspoon of dried ginger powder and add sesame oil (तिल का तेल) and make a paste

How to use?

Apply this paste for 4-6 hours daily and then wash it with normal water. This paste can applied any time of day.

Benefits of dried ginger paste

After continuously using it for 2 weeks it helps in knee pain

Dates(khajur) helps in knee pain

Eat 7-8 dates daily in winter season

How to use?

Soak 7-8 dates in water and leave then overnight . Eat these soaked dates in morning and also drink that water .

Benefits of eating dates

It helps in strengthening knee joints

    i tried honey,ginger lemon for my very painful left knee for the first time in 4weeks i had a goodnight sleel.although the pain is still there but it is now dull
