Chaturbeej Churan Ingredients
- Methika – Fenugreek
- Chandrashura – Lepidium sativum – Garden cress – Asalia
- Kalonji – Kala Ajaji – Nigella sativa
- Ajwain – Carum copticum / Trachyspermum ammi
Benefits:
The combination is very useful to relieve bloating, indigestion and abdominal pain.It is also used in treating pre-menstrual syndrome(PMS) with stomach pain and discomfort ahead of periods. This action can be attributed to Kalonji, which induces periods.
Procedure:
Take all the four ingredients in equal quantities and then powder them individually. Mix all of them thoroughly and store in an airtight container. The shelf life of the product may vary from 2 to 4 months.
Dosage:
Approx. 2 grams, 2 times a day, before food along with buttermilk / hot water.
People suffering from severe gastritis and acidity (pitta) should consume it after meals. Pregnant women should avoid this formulation.
